A word from the owner- Guy Smith
I have always had a keen interest in birds and started my own business selling birds from my dad’s back garden whilst I was still in school. Today we sell to pet shops nationwide. We pride ourselves in the quality of the birds we sell and it is this that has kept us in business for the last 30 years. We aim to supply our shops with as many varieties of birds as we can in addition to a good range of small animals.
Who are Sky Birds?
Sky Birds was created to supply the pet trade with a wide range of cage and aviary birds from garden finches to the more exotic parrots. Over time and with the growth of the business, Sky Birds expanded to further meet the needs of our pet stores with the supply of small animals. Today we are one of the largest pet suppliers in the UK, selling birds and small animals.

We are a DEFRA approved holding and quarantine facility. We also have our own in-house quarantine for all birds and animals imported from the EU. We operate GB Quarantine Services Ltd from our premises offering a fully comprehensive service to our customers importing birds from overseas.
